A theme so far for 2017 is the incredible need for Christians to return to reading the Word of God with diligence. If you are interested in a Bible reading plan there are plenty available online, and if you contact me (email@example.com) I’d be more than happy to send through my spreadsheet or put something together for you. Be encouraged and exhorted brothers and sisters. Whether you are new to the Christian faith or you have been walking with Jesus for decades, we absolutely must return to the Word of God every day for our spiritual nourishment. If we believe that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God, then it is both our duty and privilege to be fed supernaturally by what the Holy Spirit will speak to our hearts when we engage the scriptures.
The whole commandment that I command you today you shall be careful to do, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land that the Lord swore to give to your fathers. And you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not. And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
