Guest Post: Pastor Mike Spaulding – Much Of The Church Is Controlled Opposition

How blessed is he who considers the helpless; the LORD will deliver him in a day of trouble. Psalm 41:1

The Demoncrats[1] have escalated their war against God and the Church sings louder. What do I mean by that? A story is told about a German congregation that met together at a building that sat along a railroad track that led to a Nazi Concentration Camp. Here is that story told by one of those congregants.

“I lived in Germany during the Nazi holocaust. I considered myself a Christian. I attended church since I was a small boy. We had heard the stories of what was happening to the Jews, but like most people today in this country, we tried to distance ourselves from the reality of what was really taking place. What could anyone do to stop it?

A railroad track ran behind our small church, and each Sunday morning we would hear the whistle from a distance and then the clacking of the wheels moving over the track. We became disturbed when one Sunday we noticed cries coming from the train as it passed by. We grimly realized that the train was carrying Jews. They were like cattle in those cars!

Podcast: On the Objective – Don’t Rejoice When Your Enemy Falls – Steven Menking – 02.24.2019

2019.02.24

Join us for another Biblical discussion of important spiritual principles! In this message we look at what the Bible has to say about the proper reaction to the righteous judgment of God that creates calamities for the enemies of the Cross. The triumph of righteousness and justice is something that deserves celebration, but the Bible also cautions us to not be glad at calamities and to not rejoice when our enemies fall. What should our response be when we see God’s justice overcome His enemies? The scriptures from this message are found in Proverbs 17, Proverbs 24, and Amos 5.

What Difference Can I Make? – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 02.03.2019

Nehemiah2

The burden of God must come into our heart the way is came into Nehemiah’s. The walls are down physically, morally, and spiritually in our nation and in the lives of so many. Brothers and sisters when you ask if you can make a difference please remember that what matters more is what difference God can make. There must be a rediscovery of the promises of God in our generation. If we will continue to close our eyes and ears to the plight of the lost – even in the church – then we will be abdicating our obligation to obey the Lord that His will should be done. We must accept responsibility and cry out to God! The name of Jesus will be lifted up. Will we be the ones to do it or will our faithlessness and cowardice lead to victories for the deception promulgated by the enemy. God forbid!

The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah.

It came to pass in the month of Chislev, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the citadel, that Hanani one of my brethren came with men from Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews who had escaped, who had survived the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem. And they said to me, “The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.”

So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.

And I said: “I pray, Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You and observe Your commandments, please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant which I pray before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have sinned against You. Both my father’s house and I have sinned. We have acted very corruptly against You, and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses. Remember, I pray, the word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations; but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name.’ Now these are Your servants and Your people, whom You have redeemed by Your great power, and by Your strong hand. O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.”

For I was the king’s cupbearer.
