3pm Christians – Pastor Tim Dilena – Times Square Church – 07.26.2020

ChurchCloud

There comes a time for the Lord to begin a new chapter, to write a new story, and the begin a different phase. Just as the Israelites were promised a new triumph after singing the praises of God for the Exodus for over a millennium, so we may be on the cusp of a new season with great victories for the Kingdom of God! Pentecost was not the end but rather the beginning. The disciples of Jesus went out into the marketplace to bring about a public ministry that transformed the world. With churches still shut down in many places, perhaps God is now calling us to bring our ministry to the public square in a similar way. The season of harvest must be led and conducted in the fields, not the barn. Arise Christians and go forth in the name of Jesus Christ!

Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

06.10.2020 OtO

Steven returns for another economic update to cover the important scenarios that are unfolding all around us. From Seattle to Minneapolis and New York City Americans are watching what it would look like for the extreme left to be given power. This is providing a moment of clarity for the central core of independent Americans who are now faced with a choice: law and order or burn it all down. While the strife has likely not yet reached its peak, the pictures being painted are now clearer than ever before. Apathy is no longer possible. As Americans, we will decide our future. The economic aspects are signaling that the country will select law, order, and freedom over destruction, chaos, and tyranny. Time to pray, stand, and speak!

When The End Comes, Where Will You Be? – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 03.01.2020

Judgment

Everything in this world will be shaken. Our trust and confidence needs to be in Christ alone. Regardless of your eschatological views on the timing of the rapture and the structure of the book of Revelation, you must be prepared. Take an account today. Where are you in the faith? What are you aiming at? How have you demonstrated your priorities by your actions? Why have you retained that which you know you need to rid yourself of? Self-focus has plagued the church for too long and bled us of our power in this generation. A faithful few must stand up, know our God, and pour ourselves out for the sake of others. Now is the time brothers and sisters!

Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Matthew 24:1-14

A New Vision – Pastor William Carrol – Times Square Church – 01.05.2020

Healing

This year we need a newness of vision in order to walk by faith and not by sight. There is a massive blindness in our society to the things of God. Tragically, this blindness even exists in the church. While we will never be able to see everything with perfect clarity on this side of eternity, we can and must see Jesus lifted up in this generation. The lies of the enemy must be destroyed, and only the everlasting light of God can break the darkness that has enveloped so many in our world. It is time for each and every one of us to take heart, look to the Lord, and allow Him to anoint our eyes. Then we will see Jesus as worthy in every circumstance. Lord open the eyes of your people for the harvest you deserve in this generation!

Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.

And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.”

Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town.”

Mark 8:22-26

Guest Post: Do Not Grow Weary – Pastor Mike Spaulding – 09.29.2019

Weariness

Come to Me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.[1]—Jesus Christ

Weariness has become epidemic in America. The mental and physical exhaustion being suffered is evident on the faces of a great number of people nearly every day. Webster’s Dictionary defines weariness as: The state of being weary or tired; that lassitude or exhaustion of strength which is induced by labor; fatigue.[2]

Lassitude as used by Webster in the definition of weariness above means: uneasiness proceeding from continued waiting, disappointed expectation or exhausted patience, or from other cause.[3]

When I read “or from other cause” I paused. Certainly, unfulfilled expectations can weary you, as can unexpected events that bring with them negative results. Patience can be exhausted resulting in weariness and depleted strength or stamina to continue to persevere while waiting for a desired outcome.
