My Last Message – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 05.03.2020

jesuswashingfeet

Pastor Carter Conlon is stepping down from his role as Senior Pastor of Times Square Church. He will be retaining a role in the church and will be a part of continued ministry efforts, but he has turned over the primary leadership role of Senior Pastor to Tim Dilena. Pastor Carter is being called to bring the nation back to prayer and to revival. Transitions in leadership occur in many places in scripture. This is a moment for the body of Christ to be courageous and to go forth understanding that the grace, strength, and power of the Lord continues from generation to generation. Jesus is our Lord, our King, and our God! If we hold tight to Him we will see his hand once more. Holy Spirit raise up laborers for the harvest that the Lord deserves!

And Joshua called for all Israel, for their elders, for their heads, for their judges, and for their officers, and said to them:

“I am old, advanced in age. You have seen all that the Lord your God has done to all these nations because of you, for the Lord your God is He who has fought for you. See, I have divided to you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from the Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, as far as the Great Sea westward. And the Lord your God will expel them from before you and drive them out of your sight. So you shall possess their land, as the Lord your God promised you. Therefore be very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, lest you turn aside from it to the right hand or to the left, and lest you go among these nations, these who remain among you. You shall not make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause anyone to swear by them; you shall not serve them nor bow down to them, but you shall hold fast to the Lord your God, as you have done to this day.

Podcast: On the Objective – Do Not Abandon Ship – Steven Menking – 04.10.2020

04.10.2020

Join us for another Biblical discussion of important spiritual principles in partnership with Reliance! Brothers and sisters: do not abandon ship. Paul had a Word from God that gave him complete confidence amidst the storm. So many need that kind of word in order to have their faith strengthened. Otherwise it will be challenging for many to fend off the efforts of the enemy to sow discord, fear, and even suicide at this time. Regardless of what comes across our paths the proper response is to run to God. Remember what Jesus accomplished on the cross! Remember that He has triumphed over the grave! Remember the eternal hope that He provides. Make Jesus your Lord and do not abandon ship. The scriptures from this episode are from Acts 27 and Romans 8. We also cite William Gurnall’s book The Christian in Complete Armor.

The Joy Of Asking – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 03.08.2020

Jesus Teaching

The disciples asked Jesus many things during the course of His ministry, but as He drew close to the cross He told them that they hadn’t asking for anything in His name. He instructed them – and us – to ask in His name so that they would receive and their joy would be full. Despite the questions that often arise regarding delays in answers to prayer, when we are following the leading of the Holy Spirit to seek first the Kingdom of God there will be joyful answers from the Lord even if we don’t fully understand them. The life of a Christian is hard. That is a scriptural promise. This journey to joy is paved with trials, but we must continue to seek, to ask, and to press in. Pray boldly in this hour and know that Jesus has won the victory for us. May God bless you and give you joy!

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

02.21.2020

Who is the God who we serve? Why aren’t we properly engaged with Heaven’s agenda at this critical moment. Let’s look at prophetic words written centuries before Jesus was incarnated to see the humility and tenderness of His victory, the boldness and power of His might, and the urgency and the conviction of His call. Bless the holy name of the Lord Jesus! He is altogether worthy of our obedience at all times! The scriptures from this episode are from Isaiah 51, Isaiah 53, and Isaiah 55.

Podcast: On the Objective – Don’t Draw Back – Steven Menking – 02.12.2020

02.12.2020

Join us for another Biblical discussion of important spiritual principles in partnership with Reliance! Continuing our theme of Harvest Time we provide encouragement to avoid drawing back from the fight that is upon us. The Lord has opened a door for justice to come and for evil to be exposed. We must seize the initiative and not fall victim to excuses that would sideline us at this important moment. Isaiah demonstrates that we have a choice in what will happen in this day, that we cannot use the veneer of milquetoast religion to avoid our responsibility, that there is an evil at play that will only respond to judgment rather than mercy, and that we can see a day when good is good and evil is evil again. The scriptures from this episode are from Isaiah 1, Isaiah 7, Isaiah 26, and Isaiah 32.

A Cry From The Heart Of God – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 02.02.2020

Crucifixion-LeonBonnat

The cry of Jesus on the cross as He surrendered His life for your sake was one of a kind. It was a cry of God for His people, a cry for all time, a cry of finality. What a thing it is that the Lord hears and responds to our cries as well. Throughout the history of scripture the testimony of God is filled with moments defined by a cry. There is such a cry in this generation arising from darkness seeking to drown out the Word of God. We must respond with a Holy Spirit cry of our own! God help us! God send us! Forgive our fruitlessness! Glorify your name! The tipping point will arise with a cry, and each one of us must play our part for the sake of His kingdom.

And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last.

Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, “Truly this Man was the Son of God!”

Mark 15:37-39

02.04.2020 OtO

Join us for another Biblical discussion of important spiritual principles in partnership with Reliance! Continuing our theme of Harvest Time we discuss the need for the body of Christ to get to work. Everything holding us back from the work God has called us into is a lie. Jesus is worthy of the fullness of our obedience and devotion, and even those can only be displayed as He lends us His power, authority, and righteousness. No more excuses. It’s time to work. The fruit that is born will glorify God and last for all eternity! The scriptures from this episode are from 2 Thessalonians 3, Proverbs 10, and Hebrews 12.
