Keep Silence Before Me – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 04.21.2019

KeepSilent

There is a time to be silent in the presence of God. From there our faith can be increased to the point where we can then command the enemy to be silent before the presence of God in us. The devil is the father of lies and a murderer from the beginning. Every day we are assaulted with fiery darts, thoughts, motivations, words, declarations, curses, and mocking. It’s time to tell every voice but the voice of God, every name but the name of Jesus, and every spirit but the Holy Spirit to BE SILENT in this hour! Let us look to the Lord and know personally His authority. Are you overwhelmed by His power today? Let us surrender everything to the cross of Christ. His Word will stand eternally and all the other voices will vanish. Tell those other voices to be silent now. Let the voice of God go forth!

Isaiah 40

“Keep silence before Me, O coastlands,
And let the people renew their strength!
Let them come near, then let them speak;
Let us come near together for judgment.

Isaiah 41:1

Podcast: SER 185 – Ray Moore – The Case for Home Schools

2019.05.01 SER

In this episode, I welcome Ray Moore to SER to discuss the importance of homeschooling children.

The evidence is abundant that Christian children cannot continue to thrive within the government school system as they have done in years past. As historical justification for the withdrawing of our children from government schools, the original Exodus itself is a prime example. The children of Israel spent 400 years in Egypt exiled from the Promised Land. It was always to have been a temporary arrangement. While allowed in God’s providence, it was not God’s long-term blueprint for them.

Just as the conditions in Egypt drastically changed and turned against the people of God when Pharaoh arose “who did not know Joseph” (Exodus 1:8), so the current government system has radically turned against Christian children, their beliefs and even against Christian teachers. This has been true for decades, but now with the adoption of Common Core, indoctrination and coercion have accelerated.

Podcast: On the Objective – Authentically Walking With God – Chris Baucom – 05.01.2019

2019.05.01 OtO

Join us On the Objective as your host Steven Menking welcomes back Chris Baucom of Remnant Radio Network for another conversation about walking out our Christian faith. The lack of authenticity, Holy Spirit power, and supernatural authority is all too present in the institutional churches of this generation. We must each understand and take up our responsibility in this hour. Follow the call of Jesus Christ, and turn aside from outsourcing your soul to others. Thanks for joining us On the Objective!

Podcast: On the Objective – Harnessing Entertainment For The Kingdom Of God – Bill Chapman – 04.30.2019

2019.04.30

Join us On the Objective as your host Steven Menking welcomes back Bill Chapman for another discussion about the dynamics of entertainment media and how what was designed for evil can be turned for good by the power of God. The discussion is motivated by the release of Unplanned, a movie that is helping to move the needle in the conversation about abortion and infanticide in this nation. Many Americans won’t read a book or follow an abstract argument, but almost everyone can be touched by a true story presented in an effective manner. There are so many miraculous testimonies of Jesus available for this generation, and they can help facilitate the dramatic harvest that the Lord deserves. Thanks for joining us On the Objective!

Podcast: On the Objective – A Word For The Discouraged – 04.20.2019

2019.04.20

Join us for another Biblical discussion of important spiritual principles! I was feeling discouraged prior to this recording, so I began to praise God and to encourage myself in the Lord. The Holy Spirit highlighted the nature of God’s victory and the wisdom that we need to have in hearing an entire matter and being vigilant to pursue discernment. This is a passionate plea to action and a call out of the mire of discouragement. Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords! The scriptures from this message are found in Psalm 68 and Proverbs 18.

The Grace To Be Gracious – Pastor William Carrol – Times Square Church – 04.14.2019

Moses.jpg

We don’t have the resources to be gracious. However, our God in His everlasting mercy can provide us the grace that we need to become a source of grace for others. When we are wronged, hurt, rejected, betrayed, abandoned, chastised, or just plain beat down our first natural instinct is not to pour out grace. This even happened to Moses after he was given the first copy of the law from the Lord only to turn wrathful at the disobedience of the people. We need supernatural faith, strength, and grace to overcome the temptation to succumbing to anger, even anger that can be characterized as righteous or justified. The depth of this need cannot be overstated. Let us abandon our own strength and rely entirely on the Lord to call us, fill us, equip us, and send us. Jesus is faithful from the cross to eternity, and He will not fail you. It’s time for forgiveness. It’s time for supernatural grace. It’s time for prayer. It’s time for the harvest!

Then Moses said to the Lord, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.”

And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.”

So the Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.”

And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.”

Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” And the Lord said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.”

Exodus 33:12-23
