Podcast: On the Objective – Standing Against Demonic Rage – Ray Gano – 07.19.2018

raygano

Welcome back On the Objective as your host Steven Menking sits down again with Ray Gano to discuss how to handle the demonic influence of rage that has sprung up in our society. Ray has a new book out called The Demonic Wars in which he presents a scriptural routine that helps Christians live a deliverance lifestyle. What we see unfolding in this generation is astounding, but it is not without explanation in spiritual dynamics. Situational awareness and Biblical discipline are absolutely crucial now as far too many are still sidelined by theology or apathy. It is time to get actively involved with the work of the kingdom of God. Blessed are the peacemakers. Thanks again for joining us On the Objective!

The Ministry Of Encouragement – Pastor Patrick Pierre – Times Square Church – 07.19.2018

Vintage Oil Paintings Google Search Painting Ideas Pinterest for Vintage Art Paintings for Encourage

This is an era of negativity in attitude, speech, and disposition. Christians must take heed to the scriptures and encourage both ourselves and one another. God is an endless source of encouragement, and a supernatural strength to face these days is always available. People need encouragement, and providing it in an appropriate way is an effective inroad to further meaningful conversation in addition to being a ministry in and of itself. Please take time today to listen to this message about the importance of encouragement and the impact it can have on you and on those you come into contact with. Jesus deserves to be represented properly in this generation, and one way to accomplish that would be to stand as a resource of encouragement against a veritable flood of negativity.

…exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Podcast: SER 147 – James Harrison – The Natural Family Part 1

JR-Harrison

The natural family is the fundamental building block of every human society. By design and nature, this family consists of the union of a man and a woman in a lifelong committed relationship with their biological and/or adopted children.

This definition and understanding of the natural family certainly stand in sharp contrast to what modern American society thinks the family is. However, the evidence is overwhelming that the natural family of one man and one woman committed to each other provides the best environment for the full physical and emotional development of their children.

Stay tuned for my conversation with JR Harrison of The Natural Family Foundation in this episode of SER.

The Promise Of Power – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 07.08.2018

Pentecost

God has promised to indwell us with the power of the Holy Spirit. All of us must cry out for this power not for our own sake alone but for those around us. We need the power to see and love as Christ sees and loves. We need the power to pray and to witness in this generation. We need supernatural power to live supernatural lives. Without this power we will not be able to walk in the peace and joy of the Lord despite trial and turmoil. In order to receive this power, we have to spend time with God through His word. Jesus open our eyes to what you have for us. Lord we thank you and bless you for your mercy and goodness. God will transform us should we ask and seek with humble hearts. Come, let us reason together. Are you walking every day in the power that God wants to give you to bring glory to His name and to advance the Kingdom of God?

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?”

Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.”

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved.’

Acts 2:1-21

Standing In The Gap – Pastor Gary Ham – Times Square Church – 07.01.2018

LotSodom

In our generation God is looking for intercessors who are willing to pursue after righteousness and to stand in the gap. In order to intercede, we must be made ready to pray and to encounter the Lord. Who will stand in the gap? What happens when the enemy comes in like a flood? Jesus interceded for us on the cross and continues to be our high priest at the right hand of the Father. Have you been called? Are we being obedient? We can’t pray and intercede unless we draw near to God. Do you have an expectation that you will encounter God on a regular basis, that you will walk with Him, and that He will speak with you? Who will kneel before the Lord? Who will stand in the gap? Who will submit themselves to His will so that souls would be saved in this hour? What will you do?

Then the men rose from there and looked toward Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on the way. And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.” And the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.”

Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the Lord. And Abraham came near and said, “Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it? Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

So the Lord said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.”

Then Abraham answered and said, “Indeed now, I who am but dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose there were five less than the fifty righteous; would You destroy all of the city for lack of five?”

So He said, “If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it.

And he spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose there should be forty found there?”

So He said, “I will not do it for the sake of forty.”

Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there?”

So He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

And he said, “Indeed now, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose twenty should be found there?”

So He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of twenty.”

Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?”

And He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.” So the Lord went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place.
