Podcast: The Amateur Society – Charlottesville Aftermath – 08.15.2017


Over the weekend we saw political and ideological tensions boil over into violent clashes between extremist groups leading to many injuries and a fatality. There are many questions that should be raised about this dangerous and incendiary incident, and our discussion will focus on the higher level implications of the trends that have led us to this point. Where will we go from here? Is the division in our society irreparable? How do identity politics devolve? What do different worldviews have to do with the escalating conflict?
