A Rudder And A Sail Verse – Pastor Tim Dilena – Times Square Church – 05.17.2020

Ark

Do we have faith that the word of God is true? If we know God and are called according to his purposes, then we know that all things work together for good. This promise often goes beyond our understanding, yet it is true. Even without having the full explanation of many situations, if we know and trust the Lord with this verse we can receive the peace and contentment of the Holy Spirit to contend with anything we face. Jesus is our shepherd, and He will lead us even through the valley of the shadow of death. We must regularly remind ourselves of this vibrant, mighty, glorious truth!

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Podcast: On the Objective – Do Not Abandon Ship – Steven Menking – 04.10.2020

04.10.2020

Join us for another Biblical discussion of important spiritual principles in partnership with Reliance! Brothers and sisters: do not abandon ship. Paul had a Word from God that gave him complete confidence amidst the storm. So many need that kind of word in order to have their faith strengthened. Otherwise it will be challenging for many to fend off the efforts of the enemy to sow discord, fear, and even suicide at this time. Regardless of what comes across our paths the proper response is to run to God. Remember what Jesus accomplished on the cross! Remember that He has triumphed over the grave! Remember the eternal hope that He provides. Make Jesus your Lord and do not abandon ship. The scriptures from this episode are from Acts 27 and Romans 8. We also cite William Gurnall’s book The Christian in Complete Armor.

The Groanings Of The Holy Spirit – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 12.29.2019

Baptism

The Holy Spirit will intercede for us when we don’t know what we should pray for. We cannot allow our perceived inadequacy limit us from seeking the freedom that only God can provide. Jesus doesn’t require us to be polished, perfected, or poised in order to approach His throne. He will provide the Holy Spirit to lead us. He is all sufficient. He is no respecter of persons. He is the King of Kings. He rules and reigns. He sets the captives free. He chases us to the ends of the earth. Nothing can separate us from His love. If you are groaning today cry out to heaven! It’s time for us to respond to the Holy Spirit. This generation will waste away without the Lord if we don’t kneel in prayer and stand in obedience. Glory to God!

For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Romans 8:22-32

The Trials And Triumphs Of The Children Of God – Pastor William Carrol – Times Square Church – 11.11.2018

ValleyShadowDeath

Never forget, oh born again Christian, that God is your Father! He knows the trials that surround you. He knows the moments when you even doubt that you can make it. He knows everything that He has for you. He sees your willingness to step out of the world. He receives your repentance. He understands your struggles. Jesus met the people in the waters of repentance to identify with us. The Lord is good, merciful, and worthy. He meets us where we are. He leads us gently in all truth and righteousness. Do you know who your Father is? Do you know His love for you? Do you know what He did to restore you to Himself? Can you fathom how God sees you? Change the things that need to change. Go fully with God today. Nothing else will work. Nothing else will save this generation. Nothing else could be more meaningful or fulfilling. Meet with God today!

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Romans 8:14-17
