How To Protect Your Thought Life – Pastor William Carrol – Times Square Church – 12.04.2016

paul

In such times as these when profound evil is being exposed, it is critical that we maintain faithful and obedient to our calling to expose the works of darkness. At the same time we must wholeheartedly and completely rely upon God in order to avoid being sucked down into the abyss that we are looking into. If it seems impossible to walk that fine line between the duty to deal directly with the evils of the world and the life of joy that is ours in Christ, it’s because it is impossible in our own strength. Call upon the Lord and strengthen yourself in this moment: there is a great task at hand.

How To Protect Your Thought Life – Pastor William Carrol – Times Square Church – 12.04.2016

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:1-11

How To Love Your Neighbor – Nik Godshall – Times Square Church – 09.18.2016

Christians, please take some time to listen to this wonderful teaching. At this pivotal time we cannot afford to have hatred, bitterness, and unforgiveness in our hearts. I pray that the Holy Spirit will empower us to be bold and unconditional in our love so that the world would see the love of God in us.

By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
