Say Yes – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 10.08.2017

IsaiahVision

Say yes to God today! Times Square Church recently celebrated its 30th anniversary since being planted by Pastor David Wilkerson in 1987. Always press forward in prayer, in God’s Word, in fasting, and in all things glorifying to the name of Jesus.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:

“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”

Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

A Deeper Healing – Joni Eareckson Tada – Times Square Church – 09.24.2017

JoniAndFriends

Brothers and sisters in Christ, please hear this incredible woman’s testimony and a word of encouragement from the Lord! The fitness of our spiritual lives will continue to be tested in the times that await us, but there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God. Please consider supporting Joni and Friends and their work serving the disabled around the world: http://www.joniandfriends.org/

And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Unshakeable Last Day Worship – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 09.10.2017

WorshipChrist

In spite of the darkness that will unfold in this world, God will have a people who will have an unshakeable spirit of worship. Only by knowing God and seeking a full relationship with Him will we receive the touch of the Holy Spirit with a song of praise that cannot be stifled by the circumstances around us.

Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste,
Distorts its surface
And scatters abroad its inhabitants.
And it shall be:
As with the people, so with the priest;
As with the servant, so with his master;
As with the maid, so with her mistress;
As with the buyer, so with the seller;
As with the lender, so with the borrower;
As with the creditor, so with the debtor.
The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered,
For the Lord has spoken this word.

The earth mourns and fades away,
The world languishes and fades away;
The haughty people of the earth languish.
The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants,
Because they have transgressed the laws,
Changed the ordinance,
Broken the everlasting covenant.
Therefore the curse has devoured the earth,
And those who dwell in it are desolate.
Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned,
And few men are left.

The new wine fails, the vine languishes,
All the merry-hearted sigh.
The mirth of the tambourine ceases,
The noise of the jubilant ends,
The joy of the harp ceases.
They shall not drink wine with a song;
Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.
The city of confusion is broken down;
Every house is shut up, so that none may go in.
There is a cry for wine in the streets,
All joy is darkened,
The mirth of the land is gone.
In the city desolation is left,
And the gate is stricken with destruction.
When it shall be thus in the midst of the land among the people,
It shall be like the shaking of an olive tree,
Like the gleaning of grapes when the vintage is done.

They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing;
For the majesty of the Lord
They shall cry aloud from the sea.
Therefore glorify the Lord in the dawning light,
The name of the Lord God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea.
From the ends of the earth we have heard songs:
“Glory to the righteous!”
But I said, “I am ruined, ruined!
Woe to me!
The treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously,
Indeed, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.”

Isaiah 24:1-16

Can You Be Reasoned With? – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 09.17.2017

IsaiahChariot

It’s time to get serious with God and to cry out in the name of Jesus. We must be humble enough to be reasoned with. The Lord knows our predicaments and our needs. Should we ignore His desire to touch His people with the Holy Spirit? There is no alternative.

“When you spread out your hands,
I will hide My eyes from you;
Even though you make many prayers,
I will not hear.
Your hands are full of blood.

“Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.
Cease to do evil,
Learn to do good;
Seek justice,
Rebuke the oppressor;
Defend the fatherless,
Plead for the widow.

“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.
If you are willing and obedient,
You shall eat the good of the land;
But if you refuse and rebel,
You shall be devoured by the sword”;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Isaiah 1:15-20

Does Your Jesus Shine In The Dark? – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 09.03.2017

Ascension

Beware of serving a fictional Jesus. In many places we have attempted to impose our values and desires onto Jesus rather than pursuing a relationship with the Lord, listening to His will for our lives, and following His commandments. When difficulties and trials abound, a Jesus concocted by our own heart will not shine. The real Jesus will be revealed in power and glory through a people dedicated to His purposes.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’

The Sudden Shaming Of Your Enemies – Pastor Carter Conlon – Times Square Church – 08.27.2017

DavidPraying

We need to heed the call to higher ground in Christ. Don’t harden your heart today to the Word of the Lord.

O Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger,
Nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure.
Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak;
O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
My soul also is greatly troubled;
But You, O Lord—how long?

Return, O Lord, deliver me!

Oh, save me for Your mercies’ sake!
For in death there is no remembrance of You;
In the grave who will give You thanks?

I am weary with my groaning;

All night I make my bed swim;
I drench my couch with my tears.
My eye wastes away because of grief;
It grows old because of all my enemies.

Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity;

For the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.
The Lord has heard my supplication;
The Lord will receive my prayer.
Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled;
Let them turn back and be ashamed suddenly.

Psalm 6:1-10
